Imperial Gadgets Policy

Below you will find our policies, written in plain English with no hidden small print. We believe online shopping should be transparent and easy, and that will encourage customers to come back again! :-)

Delivery Policy

We dispatch all orders within two working days. This means if you order on Tuesday, we will dispatch by Thursday, and so forth. This does not include public / bank holidays. Therefore, please be wary if ordering on a Friday - we may not dispatch until Monday.

All our post to the U.K. goes out by 1st Class Recorded Delivery post, and if the customer has selected we send by Special Delivery, which is guaranteed by Royal Mail to be delivered the next day after dispatch.

Sometimes, if we're really quick (and you order early in the day) we can dispatch a laptop charger on the same day - as we know everyone wants their stuff fast! However, we cannot guarantee this. We'll do it when we can but it is best not to assume. Just letting you all know we'll still try our best!

Cancellation and Refunds Policy

Cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to info@imperialgadgets.co.uk quoting the order number / details as well as the e-mail address used for the order.

Orders may be cancelled and refunded at any time by the customer up to the point where the order is shipped by Imperial Gadgets. If a cancellation / refund request is received after this time, then the customer will be requested to receive and then return the package sent to them by Imperial Gadgets.

Goods must be unopened and in their original saleable condition to be eligible for a refund - once opened and/or used, refunds cannot be accepted and only returns for faulty products can be accepted at this point.

Please note that if an order has shipped when a cancellation / refund request is made, a full refund will be given to any cancellation satisfying the above conditions, minus the shipping cost to Imperial Gadgets.

As per the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the customer has the right to return their order within 14 days starting the day after receipt of their order - however, all items must be unused and unopened in their original and saleable condition. Once opened and/or used, refunds cannot be accepted and only returns for faulty products can be accepted at this point.

Returns Policy

Imperial Gadgets provides a warranty of one year from date of purchase on its products from manufacturer's defects and faults. Please note this does not cover accidental damage to the charger such as the slicing of a cable or a connector pin being bent by improper use / excessive force.

If you believe your charger or product is genuinely faulty and can be shown to be a manufacturer's defect rather than accidental damage, please contact Imperial Gadgets at info@imperialgadgets.co.uk along with details of the original purchase including order number, customer name and e-mail. We will follow-up your request promptly and arrange for a return if necessary.

Please note, if a product is returned and shows signs of accidental damage rather than manufacturer defects, it is not possible for us to exchange the product for a new one and the old one will be sent back to the customer. Please e-mail us first to verify the problem is a manufacturer defect before sending it back, for this reason. Many thanks!
